Before you book
How many guests can Megh Villa host?
Up to 20 guests across five air-conditioned bedrooms. Mattresses are provided for guests beyond twelve.
Is the pool really private?
Yes, the 24 × 14 ft pool, the lawns and the entire 15,000 sq ft are yours alone for the length of your stay. Pool hours are 8 AM to 10 PM for safety.
How do we get there?
About 30 minutes by road from Mandwa Jetty (ferry from Mumbai), or a 2-3 hour drive from Mumbai depending on the route.
What about meals?
Meals aren't included but the live kitchen cooks per-person thali packages, vegetarian to mutton, covering breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. Order at least a day ahead.
Check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 1 PM, check-out by 11 AM. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability.
Is Megh Villa pet-friendly?
No, pets are not allowed at Megh Villa.
House Rules
A family villa in a quiet residential lane. A few simple rules keep it calm for your group and the neighbours.
Quiet hours & pool timing
The pool is open 8 AM to 10 PM. Music indoors stays low after 10 PM with doors and windows closed, so families nearby rest easy.
In the pool
No diving, jumping or stunts, and no eating or smoking in the water. Please keep sharp objects away from the lining.
A family-first villa
Loud parties and events are not allowed. Megh Villa is made for family stays, reunions and friends who want the place to themselves.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the property.
Smoking & alcohol
Allowed inside the compound, in the designated area at the back or the living room, never in the pool or bedrooms. Please use the bins.
Parking
Room for 6 to 7 cars or one mini traveller bus. Large buses are not advised on Alibag's narrow lanes.
Extra guests
₹1,000 per guest per night beyond 12 guests (above 5 years). Clean mattresses are provided.
Security & privacy
Seven-foot compound walls, CCTV across common areas only (never private spaces), and an onsite manager through your stay.
Power & backup
Alibag is coastal, so power cuts do happen. Our inverter and generator keep the lights and fans going, but they cannot run the air conditioners, that would drain the backup fast. Please use power thoughtfully during an outage. Grid supply is beyond our control.
